PRODUCTS & SERVICES FOR PRODUCTION
The IRF is a public entity that aims its own research activities and those conducted through national and international collaborations at providing horticultural sector growers and businesses new products and supporting their activities through the development of specialized services.
The IRF offers companies new products obtained from its improvement and selection activities. In the case of protected varieties, the IRF stipulates propagation and distribution licence agreements. For the development of clones and other innovative products, the IRF signs cultivation licence contracts for pilot fields. In other cases, plant material supplies are programmed on the basis of received requests and agreed delivery times. The IRF also enters collaboration agreements for the development of products of specific interest to businesses that are not currently offered.
Specialist services are offered on the basis of standard tariffs approved by the organization’s governing bodies. However, the IRF is open to assessing specific requests outside of such tariffs for the development of ad hoc specialist services under agreement.
